If you’re teaching history it’s hard to make that come alive. That’s why this site is really neat. This archive of Historical Sounds has some of the key moments of the 20th Century in MP3 format. The recordings are not always crystal clear, but they all seem quite recognizable. They bring a sense of emotion and immediacy to what might seem to be otherwise “dull” history. From this history teacher: Two thumbs up.
