If you’re partial to timelines and maps of world history, this site is for you. Hyper History Online is the Internet portion of a site selling a world history wallchart. The difference, of course, is the online portion is free and the wallchart is not.
The various charts and maps compare different civilizations, cultures, scientists, religious leaders, and cultural figures. There’s quick bios on most of the people involved. The historical maps take you to 1800, and the timeline of history takes you clear to 2005.
All in all, a very nice resource for your students, especially considering the price you pay.
