I volunteered to help out at a new blog, www.TeachEng.us. It’s a blog devoted to the teaching of English and already has four writers. Site creator Ben Davis is aiming for about 30 contributors which would give a wide variety of ideas and approaches. Even geographically the blog is off to a good and diverse start with two writers from Alabama and a third (me) from Manitoba.

I’m suggesting a few tech related ideas for English teaching. That’s about all I can do since I’m actually a history teacher, but in my role as a computer support teacher I’ve been helping one Grade 8 teacher with cool online approaches to teaching English. It’s these that I’m sharing.
