The Interactive Universe

I’m not at all sure why History.com wants you to know just how big and beautiful the universe is, but it seems they do. They’ve gone and created the Interactive Universe to give you the opportunity to whip around the galaxy and find out about the planets, stars, and so forth.

The site is very slick. You do need to make sure you’re viewing this on a monitor that’s large enough because if you have to scroll back and forth it will lose much of the effect. And the background music; it gets annoying but it can be turned off.
