There aren’t a lot of sites that you can tell exactly what they’re about just by looking at the URL. Multiplication.com is an exception because it is all about just what you’d expect, multiplication. This is a site devoted purely to muliplication. If there’s addition, subtraction, or division on this site, I haven’t been able to find it.
Judging by the colors and cartoon-style characters, this is a site geared to kids in the primary/early years. It seems to deal with times tables up to 12. It’s full of neat games which, naturally, start out easier and get harder. I tried one game set in an ice cream shop. When I’d successfully completed one level, it allowed me to choose a new and funky wallpaper for my shop. There are rewards for success, and the games seem quite tolerant if you can’t get the answer right away.
The site may not be all you need for teaching multiplication, but it’s a nice addition to Mad Math or Times Tables.
