One of the most powerful photo editing program’s is Adobe’s Photoshop. If I told you that it was now available online, would you expect that to be an April Fool’s gag?
Well, surprise! Adobe Photoshop Express is online and it’s pretty good. There’s a wide array of ways to edit your photo, all of them free, which is more than you can say about most photo editing sites. There’s also a whole lot of space to put your photos online; two full gigabytes worth.
The layout is fairly intuitive and easy to figure out so if you’re computer comfortable you should have no real trouble with it. The only difficulty I had was that I have an older monitor here at school (I think it’s a 15 incher), and the page layout is quite a bit bigger than that. At school, at least, I have to continually scroll back and forth to get the tools I need.
Officially this is only an America beta version, but I registered for it with a .CA e-mail address, so I suspect they don’t really mind if anyone uses it.
While it’s not a full blown Adobe Photoshop (they’re not going to give that away!) it is a pretty cool photo editing site and one of the better ones that I’ve seen.
