The kids have been working on stop motion animation projects for the past few weeks. In between computer crashes, server problems, things not saving due to insufficient disk space and endless other technical problems, a couple of the videos have been finished. Here for your entertainment, are the first two.

Nice job — thanks for sharing.
Was there sound on the top one? I could not hear anything.
The tricky part for my kids is the “hands” and I try to really reinforce not getting them in the way (not easy for impatient kids) and then using Moviemaker to edit them out(again, not easy for impatient kids).
What was your take on how engaged the students were? Mine love doing stopmotion, although it takes a lot of time.
Adios
Kevin
The first video did not have sound so it wasn’t you.
The amount of time it took was a bit ridiculous, but we were plagued by technical problems over a couple of weeks.
I think the kids liked the projects though the problems with our computer network were frustrating them. Overall they’re amazed by the finished product and can’t believe what they created. A couple of them really beamed with pride when I posted their videos.
